Vineyard and cellar monitoring
Weather, soil, frost, fermentation gases and cellar climate, read every few minutes from stations that need no wiring, no SIM card and no coverage. All of it on one map, with history you can compare year over year.
What it watches
Small weatherproof stations in the field and compact sensors in the cellar report to a hub at the winery. You see everything on a map of your own estate.
Air temperature and humidity, rainfall, wind speed and direction, measured where the vines grow, not at the nearest airport.
Soil moisture at root depth and leaf wetness duration, the two numbers behind irrigation timing and disease pressure.
Night-time frost warnings, downy and powdery mildew pressure indices, growing degree days and phenology thresholds for your varieties.
Fermentation and storage temperature per vessel, cellar humidity, with a timeline you can lay next to your winemaking notes.
Carbon dioxide monitoring in fermentation rooms and cellars, with immediate alerts before the air becomes dangerous for people.
Every reading is kept. Compare this season to the last one, link harvest and treatment entries to the exact weather of that day.
How it works
Weatherproof, solar powered, on a pole among the rows. They run through winter on their own and need no cable or phone signal.
A small box the size of a book collects every reading, stores the history and draws the map. It works even when the internet does not.
Open the dashboard from the tractor or from a trade fair. Alerts reach you by notification, e-mail or SMS.
Communication
Stations talk to each other and pass readings along. If one path is blocked by a hill or a building, the data takes another. There is no SIM card, no operator subscription and no monthly fee for the link itself. Several kilometres of estate are covered from a single rooftop.
The dashboard
A map of your own stations with readings on hover, charts for any period, and a logbook that remembers what the weather was doing when you did what you did.
Your data
The hub at the winery holds the full history. Nothing has to leave your estate for the system to work, and nobody else can see your parcels.
Beyond the vineyard
The vineyard module is the first. The stations and the hub do not care what grows between them.
